Legal Assistant - Legal Operations Duties: Will provide administrative assistance to company's legal operations group. Will be responsible for overseeing the legal new hire onboarding process, maintaining the legal contracts and legal fax email queues, drafting weekly status reports, performing general office tasks (including calendaring, filing, processing physical mail, purchasing supplies, budget tracking, and assisting with strategic space planning) for company's legal.
Qualification and Experience
Basic Qualifications: A BA/BS degree and legal administrative experience are preferred. The candidate should have 3+ years of experience as an administrative assistant. Experience in building Excel formulas and data analysis are essential. Experience with SharePoint or a similar program to build and maintain website pages. Comfort with learning new programs and software is a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Strong written and oral communication skills are a must. Must possess the ability to work efficiently and independently; manage high volumes of tasks and projects with little guidance; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround; take effective action without having to know the total picture; and think creatively and be proactive in solving problems that affect people within the group or other related groups. Should also be client-service oriented, have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, have great organization skills, and have the ability to easily switch gears. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company is essential.
