Temporary Administrative Assistant Duties: Will perform administrative, clerical and various other duties in support of the firm. Open, evaluate and sort a high volume of mail items according to importance, urgency and distribution. Upload large volume of electronic documents to the document management system. Answer telephones, take and relay messages, respond to inquiries or routine requests. Proactively investigate caller questions and provide necessary information to recipient of message. Assist with file preparation, conference room reservations, catering needs, agenda preparation and distribution, etc. Promptly prepare expense reimbursements, verifying for accuracy and ensuring proper documentation is provided. Establish and maintain up-to-date files. Maintain a regular and dependable attendance schedule. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications : Associate's degree or equivalent experience. Is at ease working in a team environment, willingly offering assistance and requesting assistance. Legal secretarial experience a plus. Experience with preparing written discovery a plus. Ability to handle all confidential information with utmost discretion, analyze problems and exercise good judgment. Demonstrate composure under pressure. Must possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, databases, etc. Ability to exhibit exceptional communication and organizational skills as well as strong attention to detail, interact effectively and develops strong working relationships with personnel across all firm locations and levels, including attorneys, staff, and clients, and develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external service providers.
