Legal Administrative Assistant/ Legal Secretary - Litigation The candidate will be responsible for working with commercial litigation attorneys, maintaining and processing case information, managing the progression of cases to final disposition, creating electronic files and preparing and processing correspondence, memoranda and complex legal documents.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 3+ years of recent law firm experience in commercial litigation. Should be an experienced litigation legal administrative assistant (legal secretary) with top-notch technical and administrative skills. Must be familiar with Nevada state, federal and appellate court rules, procedures and filing requirements and the day-to-day activities of a litigation practice. Experience with e-filing and Wiznet a plus. Excellent technical, administrative and organizational, skills is required. Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment; work independently and proactively is required. A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and a document management system is strongly preferred.
