Legal Secretary The candidate supports attorneys and paralegals in managing administrative and clerical work including: coordinating the discovery process, document collection and preservation, document review, document production tasks, and maintaining case filing and databases. Must possess the necessary skills to coordinate with the special education team, providing assistance such as docketing, scheduling, drafting correspondence, and preparing documents or notebooks for case meetings and hearings. Should possess 5+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary. Extensive experience in litigation matters is a plus. Must have excellent organizational, word processing, and professional level people skills, as well as an ability to handle multiple priorities with great focus in an efficient and effective manner. Excellent proofing, editing and writing/communication skills are a must, as well as high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
