Legal Staff
Receptionist DUTIES: Reception duties include greeting guests, answering telephones and taking detailed messages, maintaining reception area, conference rooms and break room, and ordering office supplies. Overflow of legal assistant work including preparing, proofreading and editing of documents. File management. Some interaction with clients, opposing counsel and vendors requiring professional demeanor. Maintain confidential information in a professional and trustworthy manner.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: College degree or higher is required. Previous legal secretary experience a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook) Must have intermediate to advanced technical skill in Microsoft Office. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with limited guidance. Must be able to work in a team environment and maintain positive and productive relationships with co-workers and vendors. Excellent organization skills.
