Profile

Law Firm Administrator The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and management support to the Litigation group, including coordination between the corporate office and six remote offices. Ensure high quality of service provided by law firm in all offices. Ensure timely billing and collections, coordinating with production and billing teams. Monitor and manage the litigation group to improve profitability and expand services as appropriate. Perform financial and pricing analysis in collaboration with controller and firm ownership. Work collaboratively with custom software providers on workflow and billing software optimizations. Document policies and procedures to ensure optimum client audit results. Collaborate with managers of the law firm and assist in making policy decisions for the growth and development of the litigation practice. Coordinate Firm resources for continually improved efficiency. Play an active role in undertaking publicity campaigns and marketing services offered by the firm. Evaluate the performance of both legal staff such as attorneys and paralegals and non-legal staff such as assistants. Ensure and maintain document retention and file management policies. Assist with recruiting and HR support. Formulate strategies and plans for development of individual practice groups. Manage vendors, auditors, and administrative assistants.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have BA degree and 5+ years of experience in multi-office law firm or professional service company, administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred. Should have good financial analysis skills including present value computations, ROI, and various ratios. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word and Excel. Strong knowledge about finance, accounting and financial systems.
