Legal Secretary Assistant The candidate will be working closely with clients, attorneys, paralegals and assisting Legal Secretaries in all stages of Corporate, Finance, Tax, Real Estate and Litigation Law. Handle a broad range of administrative tasks to include document maintenance, production and editing and proofreading. Will be responsible for using appropriate firm resources in delegating, tracking and following up on numerous administrative tasks and seeing projects through to a successful completion.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Must have: High school diploma. 2 years of clerical experience in a law firm. College Degree; and experience supporting a Corporate practice group preferred. Strong computer skills including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with staff and timekeepers. Team-oriented and have ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. Accurate proofreading skills and strong attention to detail.
