Paralegal The candidate will : Provides assistance in preparing legal documents and clerical duties. Performs routine legal research and compiles data from multiple internal sources. Prepares drafts of contracts involving products and services, including licensing. Manages licensing for various businesses. Maintains corporate books and drafts corporate documents, including corporate resolutions. Drafts PowerPoint presentations. Processes and oversees content execution process. Oversees electronic legal library and filing/ organizing/ storing of legal documents. Collects and collates legal research and information from a wide variety of sources. Performs research and analysis on supporting data and information needed regarding various business issues of the organization. Participates in the research and preparation of internal memorandum, as well as contracts involving products and services offered to lender clients. Assists attorneys in preparation of legal documents. Compiles data from legal research and internal stakeholders. Assembles, proofs, and edits drafts of contracts, licenses, etc. Manages licensing requirements for various businesses. Drafts documents for corporate books. Provides other administrative support to legal department, including organization of the legal department online library. Prepares schedules and correspondence, compile database on status of documents and follow up with parties, research and investigate information, conduct OFAC checks, and obtain signatures on legal agreements and process through department.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 1-2 years of professional experience. Paralegal certification. Excellent verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization. Intermediate research and summation skills. Good PC skills and must be proficient in Word, Excel, PointPoint and Visio. Detail oriented. Excellent knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to corporations. Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills.
