Profile

Director - Contracts, Cloud (SaaS) Deal Management The candidate will provide active leadership for the Cloud Deal Management team. Will ensure that the team is delivering high quality contract documentation, in a timely manner. Will act as a partner for Oracle's Sales Leaders and other department leaders involved in the contract lifecycle. Ensures compliance for the team with company standards and values (RevRec, Business Practices, Compliance Ethics) while maximizing Oracle's revenue opportunities. Manage Performance and Development of Employees:. . Analyze and address individual performance of team members. Ensure team meets defined KPI and objectives. Check the quality of service performed by team members and propose solutions for improvement. Coordinate personal development of team members (development plan, projects and other opportunities). Conduct Quarterly/annual reviews (based on KPIs, objectives and competencies). Provide incentive recommendations. . . . Take part in Recruitment process and hire top talent. Create Succession Plan for self. Ensure contract activities are performed in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. Advice and guidance in high complexity opportunities (clauses, negotiations) for team members . Ensure corporate policies and RevRec key controls are in place and performed by team members with no material deficiencies; ensure constant knowledge growth for team members. Monitor and evaluate innovative process improvements. Validate contract package for accuracy, compliance with Oracle's Business Practices and Commercial Business Approvals/Process. . Validate the Oracle’s countersignature to make the contract effective. Understand and apply current business practices policies, revenue recognition policies, migration policies, risk management, credit and current sales compensation guidelines and ensure team members do so.. Maintain good relationships with business partners (department leaders). Develop new business partnerships with new leaders throughout the org. Provide advice and guidance to the Sales Leaders on high complexity/value transactions and opportunities (documentation and negotiations). Represent point of escalation for emotional & critical issues, for forecasting activities and Sales Management.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: University degree or equivalent. 4+ years people management experience. Preferably in Quoting/Contracting or Finance Operations. Excellent written and verbal skills. Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills in high demanding sales environment. Ability to keep up with constant changes to products, policies, procedures, and people. Ability to work independently, and remain calm under pressure. Ability to work well with multiple organizations in a team environment. Knowledge of revenue recognition, business practices, and contracting policies. Flexibility in work schedule with demanding hours at times.
