Law Student Interns, Fall Division: Education. Students will participate in a co-op program for a semester or a school year. Interns assist organization's attorneys in representing clients. With appropriate supervision, interns have the opportunity to interact with clients and may conduct initial client interviews and attend client meetings, hearings, trials, and administrative proceedings. Assignments will include legal research, drafting legal documents and memoranda, and factual investigation. Interns also participate in staff meetings and are responsible for some administrative duties. Candidate should be work-study eligible or come with partial or full funding of own (through public interest law grants or other sources). Academic year interns are expected to work a minimum of 10 hours/ week.
