Legal Intern The candidate will attend internal and external meetings relevant to the mission goals of the organization. Conduct research in line with the learning opportunities germane to health law to develop new skills. Gain understanding of areas related to government relations, congressional operations, court cases, and federal agencies engaged in health policy. Must have completed at least one year of law school at an accredited institution, and be able to dedicate 37.5 hours per week for the 10 week internship. Must also have excellent writing and verbal skills, and the ability to work under deadlines. Understanding of basic health law is preferred. Should have a minimum of a B average (cumulative 3.0 on 4.0 scale).
