Summer Internship Program Interns will work for Part-time on Environment, Property/Land Use. Conduct research, gather and analyze information, write summaries and educational fact-sheets, assist with grassroots outreach, help prepare Congressional testimony, and accompany lobbyists and activists from the field on visits to Congressional offices. May also represent organization in meetings of other environmental groups, monitor Congressional hearings, help to develop background information on particular issues, participate in Hill "drops," and prepare briefing materials. Conservation or related policy experience, and good communication and writing skills are preferred. Should have interest/experience, as well as education in Political Science, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources, History, Law, and Journalism.
