Law Students, Academic Year The students could work in the following areas of law: Disability Advocacy; Domestic Violence and Matrimonial Law; Housing; Eviction Defense; Foreclosure and many more. Students will receive direct supervision from an attorney, develop networking contacts, and research and writing skills. Law students may do: client intake and interaction, research, drafting letters and court documents, calling witnesses and otherwise developing cases. Students may work as little as 10 hours a month assisting clients in various clinics, or extensive hours while clerking directly with a staff attorney. Some projects may allow students to work remotely.
