Women's Human Rights Internship The candidate should be a graduate and law school students to assist with research and writing website content. Intern duties may include: Researching international human rights instruments and country laws on violence against women; Creating original work on aspects of violence against women for website use; Assisting staff with maintaining current information on www.stopvaw.org.; Assisting staff in preparation for human rights monitoring missions; Assisting staff with all aspects of work at a small non-profit, including administrative tasks from time to time. Should have strong organizational and legal research skills. Sensitivity to diverse cultures. Fluency in English. Proficiency in a second language a plus. Note: For fall and spring internship: 8-15 hours per week for a total of 3-4 months. For summer internship: 20-40 hours per week for a total of 8-10 weeks. .
