Fall Internship About Internships FINRA’s Corporate Internship Program offers practical, hands-on experience with the largest independent regulator for all securities firms doing business in the United States. Our program offers interns opportunities to build their career—and supplement what they've learned in the classroom—by meeting and working with employees throughout our organization. Our program runs from August to December. Interns work a maximum of 40 hours per week at a competitive hourly pay rate. Each year fall internships are offered in several locations and may include: Atlanta Boca Raton Boston Chicago Dallas Kansas City Los Angeles New York Rockville Washington, DC Opportunities are available in a wide range of specialties* that may include: Dispute Resolution Enforcement Finance Human Resources Internal Audit Information Technology Market Regulation Member Regulation Office of Fraud Detection and Market Intelligence Office of General Counsel Registration and Disclosure Technology Transparency Services * Many opportunities are limited to certain locations. What We Require: Ideal candidates are majors in finance, accounting, business administration, information technology, or pursuing a master's degree or J.D. Candidates must be entering their third or fourth year of undergraduate studies or pursuing graduate studies. Some internships require law students to be entering their second or final year of study. What You Can Expect: On your first day, you'll receive an orientation to the organization, your department and your group. In addition, you'll learn about FINRA's mission, our values and your responsibilities as a member of our team. You'll receive more in-depth training during the 12 weeks, including a curriculum, assigned projects and goals. Throughout your internship, you will work with a mentor within your department who will assist in your training, answer your questions and provide guidance on your assigned project(s). Depending on your location, you'll hear presentations from several internal and/or external speakers. These presentations are opportunities for you to build professional relationships and to learn more about FINRA.
