Intern - Undergraduate Internship Program The Program will identify, mentor and develop underrepresented, undergraduate students who aspire to careers in the Law with the goal of improving diversity in the legal industry. Duties: will have a variety of tasks to provide you with a broad view of what it takes to work in a large law firm environment. working in the following departments and with the following people: Records, paralegals, assistants, associates, partners, counsel, perhaps a client visit with an attorney, and an opportunity to go to court.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Must be enrolled in a degree program – a preference will be given to those focused on law or law related field. Must currently be a Junior. Good attention to detail. Good organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient MS Office skills. someone who 1) is from an underrepresented group; 2) will be a rising senior the summer of the program; 3) is performing well academically; and 4) has demonstrated a genuine interest in attending law school. DURATION: 6 weeks Period: June 12 -July 21, 2017 DEADLINE: February 15, 2017
