Fall LATAM Legal Internship Responsibilities: Reviewing and drafting agreements involving Yahoo products and services including content license agreements, blogger agreements, contributor agreements, and service master agreements; Participating in negotiations with partners and internal and external clients Supporting attorneys in Brazil, Mexico and Argentina; Localizing legal documents; Updating and maintaining legal department records; Preparing memorandums on commercial, intellectual property, internet law, media laws in Latin -America and the United States; Legal research.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: 2L who has successfully completed your 2nd year by the beginning of the internship; fluent in both English/Spanish. have strong analytical skills; show a demonstrated interest in technology and intellectual property law, preferably trademark; have proficiency with MSFT Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook; have exemplary communication skills and a dedicated work ethic; be organized and detail oriented; have a good sense of humor; be driven with a sense of initiative and pride in your work product. Should have completed undergraduate coursework in computer science and/or information systems; have an understanding of the economics of online advertising. have a GPA of 3.5 or above.
