Legal Advisor The candidate will be dealing with a lot of writing up legal memos, doing legal research, and taking care of administrative tasks. Intern to be well equipped with the knowledge necessary to carry through proper research on behalf of company. Research is a crucial skill that comes with the occurrence of legal actions. Writing up of memos and other legal documents will also be required for the intern to do. Will also be responsible for smaller duties that do not involve writing, that will be disclosed by company. These duties can vary. This is a telecommuting job, which means that the individual can work from the comfort of his or her own home. This is a 90 day, unpaid internship. The intern must be very eloquent and well spoken in order to get the proper message across in the legal writings. It is important that the individual does not use jargon frequently and is able to portray ideas clearly in writing. Must be clear, concise, dedicated, and logical. Responsibilities: Uphold the content delivered in legal pages. Confer with company employees and users about legal matters over the phone. Represent company for legal matters and protection of content and graphics. Work in compliance with New York law.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must be in year two or higher in law school. Must understand laws governed by the state of New York. Strong understanding of U.S. law is needed. Must be an optimally tuned PC, Mac or laptop (Sorry, iPads, tablets, and other such devices are not compatible with organization at this time). Should have profound knowledge of: Google products, Gmail, Docs/Drive, Voice, Contacts, Google+ (for video conferencing), Chat/Talk, YouTube, Chrome (web browser), Microsoft Word, Paint, WordPad/NotePad.
