Associate, Federal Tax - Summer 2017 Responsibilities: Will perform tax-related tasks including tax compliance and advisory services to a variety of clients including partnerships, corporations and S-corporations, from Fortune 100 to emerging business. Assist in analyzing the tax aspects of various business processes and operational areas, including inventory, revenue recognition, capitalization, expense recognition, research and development, manufacturing deduction, and fixed assets from both a risk and opportunity perspective. Participate in a full spectrum of assignments and receive hands-on experience in a collegial environment. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and sustain excellent client relationships. Keep up-to-date on current tax practices.
Qualification and Experience
Qualification Requirements: A Bachelor of Accountancy, Master of Accountancy, Master of Taxation, J.D. degree with a Bachelor of Accountancy, and/or LL.M. degree with a concentration in tax from an accredited college/university. Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science or data and analytics is preferred. Effective communication, leadership, and time management skills. Strong technical ability to meet business objectives. Ability to work as a team and strive for personal effectiveness and professionalism to maintain excellent client service. Note: Targeted graduation dates from December 2016 to Summer 2017.
