Litigation - Whistleblower - CFTC
Legal Intern The Intern will work under the guidance of experienced attorneys and staff members, contributing to real projects that will grow the company and provide a rich learning experience. Assist General Counsel with strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives. Participate in the overhaul of existing form agreements and workflows. Observe and contribute to dynamic M&A activity, including acquisitions, divestitures and post-transaction integration. Assist with drafting and reviewing a wide variety of commercial and employment contracts. Perform legal research focused on cross-border transactions and compliance. Support corporate governance program and other general compliance activities. Assist Employment Counsel with litigation as needed.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Business and/or prior corporate experience preferred. Must be a current law student, 2L or 3L preferred. History of strong academic achievement. Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Eligible to work in the United States. Proficiency in applications such as Adobe, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communicator. Enthusiasm for learning. Period: June and run through mid-August.
