International Tax - Intern - Winter 2018 The intern will work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that serves as an international tax advisor to clients in a broad range of industries. Will identify and analyze tax risks/opportunities, and provide clients with tax planning advice, associated with cross-border mergers and acquisitions, inbound and outbound operations, debt structures, and intellectual property planning. Investigate technical tax issues related to, among other things, US tax treaties, foreign tax credits, Subpart F, and the sourcing of income and expenses. Draft tax structuring decks, memoranda/opinions, and Excel models to communicate findings to clients. Should be pursuing a Master of Taxation, J.D. degree, and/or LL.M. degree with a concentration in tax from an accredited college/university. Knowledge of a broad range of international and domestic tax law, with a passion for the taxation of multinational businesses is required. Note: The candidate should have targeted graduation dates from December 2018 to Summer 2019.
