Intern International Tax Summer 2017 Responsibilities: Work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that serves as an international tax advisor to clients in a broad range of industries. Identify and analyze tax risks/opportunities, and provide clients with tax planning advice, associated with cross-border mergers and acquisitions, inbound and outbound operations, debt structures, and intellectual property planning. Investigate technical tax issues related to, among other things, U.S. tax treaties, foreign tax credits, Subpart F, and the sourcing of income and expenses. Draft tax structuring decks, memoranda/opinions, and Excel models to communicate findings to clients.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Pursuing a Master of Taxation, JD degree, and/or LLM degree with a concentration in tax from an accredited college/university. Knowledge of a broad range of international and domestic tax law, with a passion for the taxation of multinational businesses. Strong planning, research, and written/oral communication skills. Ability to balance multiple engagements and client service teams, maintain professionalism, and provide excellent client service. Targeted graduation dates from December 2017 through Summer 2018.
