Law Student
Intern – Legal Intern must be currently enrolled in an accredited law school as a 2nd or 3rd year law student. Must be an active student for the entire length of internship. Should have strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and legal software, Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Should have excellent organization and time management skills. Provide litigation assistance and handle discovery matters, as needed. Perform legal and general research, as needed. Provide support, as needed. This position provides support to legal, philanthropy, and corporate responsibility departments on a broad range of matters, as needed, including the handling of litigation and claims, identifying potential liability, minimizing risk. Performs research, develops and provides in-house training, assists in the development of programs and materials, and handles matters related to information technology. Duration: September 2017 through May 2017. Internship to begin in September.
