Fall Internship Program Students will join the Department of State Law Library. Students are placed in the legislative, executive or judicial branches of government, as well as various departments and agencies within state government. The program has a wide selection of placements - many are legal placements, geared towards law students, as well as undergraduates interested in a legal career. Internships enable students to participate in state government on a learning basis and provides experience within field of interest. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher; all academic majors or fields of interest are accommodated. Fall Program: Time Frame - fall semester duration, or at least 8 weeks; working 8 - 10 hours/week within chosen field placement; intern is responsible for time sheet; mandatory student progress reports and final assessment.
