Profile

Winter Internship Program Students will join the Department of Board of Governors for Higher Education. Students are placed in the legislative, executive or judicial branches of government, as well as various departments and agencies within state government. The program has a wide selection of placements - many are legal placements, geared towards law students, as well as undergraduates interested in a legal career. Internships enable students to participate in state government on a learning basis and provides experience within their field of interest. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher; all academic majors or fields of interest are accommodated. Winter Program: Time Frame - winter break, or at least 4 weeks; working 8 - 10 hours/week within chosen field placement; responsible for time sheet.
