Legal Volunteer Internship, Spring 2015 The intern will receive legal training, as well as skills training in areas such as legal writing, research, and client management. Facing domestic not-for-profit corporations. Reports to the CFR General Counsel. Legal research and writing. Attend and participate in client meetings. Attending general Council meetings and other programs on foreign policy issues, as time permits.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Current second or third year law student, or LL.M candidate. Excellent legal research, writing and editing skills. Coursework in copyright, trademark and/or not for profit law preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Attention to detail. Ability to work independently.
