Law Student Internship The students play a vital and active role in the success of the office. Legal interns do real attorney work and represent the community in the courtroom, including trials. Will serve in the Homicide Unit of the Office and may assist deputy prosecuting attorneys, legal assistants or victim advocates. Rule 9-certified 2L interns are hired for a one-year commitment. Paid internships begin at the end of the school year. Students work full-time (35 hours/week) during the summer, and part-time (15 hours/week) during the school year. Volunteers are typically required to make a commitment of 6+ months, and volunteer 7+ hours per week. Semester: March - June Application Deadline: January 1
