Spring Internship The Senator's office offers college students the opportunity to experience the legislative process firsthand. Interns will gain experience with the legislative process and the operations of the Senator's office by working with staff on issues and interacting with constituents. Each intern will be given a variety of tasks, including: conducting legislative research, assisting with correspondence, attending hearings and briefings and performing general administrative duties. Interns support office staff by working to address constituent concerns, performing legislative research and assist with special projects and events. Internships are for college sophomores, juniors and seniors, and preference will be given to candidates who are from North Dakota or attend an in state college or university. Should commit 30-35 hours/week. Duration: January - April
