Land Use Attorney Duties: To help serve growing client base and to help us accelerate that growth. Represent public and private (for-profit and not-for-profit) sector clients before municipal and county boards and commissions on a variety of zoning, permitting, and land use issues, and in administrative proceedings and hearings before other governmental bodies. Besides work representing private interests obtaining governmental approvals and permits, we are also regularly engaged to advise local governmental entities on issues unrelated to land use. Work with real estate attorneys on development projects. Representation also includes meeting all environmental, public participation, and legal prerequisites for comprehensive plan amendments, zoning amendments and interpretation, land division, public improvement requirements, and environmental reviews.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Florida Bar License required. Florida Bar Certification in relevant area is preferred. Must have substantial experience and demonstrable success in all aspects of land use law, including comprehensive plans, zoning, subdivision regulations and related environmental issues.
