Associate, International Tax, Fall 2016 The intern will handle Outbound Transactional Structuring, Subpart F, and Inbound Transactional Structuring. Will work with Check the Box principles. Perform US Tax Treaty research. Assist with Repatriation planning, Intellectual and Intangible Property planning, Hybrid Debt structures, FSC (Foreign Sales Corporation)/EIE (Extraterritorial Income Exclusion), Foreign Tax Credit planning, and International Mergers and Acquisitions. Should have a Master of Taxation, J.D. degree, and/or LL.M. degree with a concentration in tax from an accredited college/university. Effective communication, leadership and time management skills are required. Substantial coursework in Corporate International Tax is needed. Passion for corporate international tax is a must. Strong planning and research skills are essential. Note: The candidate should have targeted graduation date from December 2015 through Summer 2016.
