Intellectual Property - Trademark/Copyright

Intellectual Property Associate The candidate will be involved in a variety of intellectual property matters, including those involving patent, trademark and copyright preparation, prosecution and counseling, licensing, opinion work and litigation support. Work for our clients in creating, developing, and leveraging patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and other rights to protect intellectual property assets as valuable business assets. Will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have a strong background in Electrical Engineering with 2-4 years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Candidates are recommended to be admitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and must have a J.D. from an accredited law school as well as be admitted to practice and in good standing before one or more state bars. Strong academic credentials. Must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.
