Patent and Trademark Attorney The candidate will be advising on patent assertions, prosecution, and licensing. Drafting and negotiating opinions for areas such as patent non-infringement and patent invalidity. Protecting, valuing, and monetizing IP assets. Conducting IP portfolio audits. Conducting IP due diligence for business acquisition or transfer. Managing IP sales and assignments. Defense of infringement claims or the assertion of IP rights against infringers.
Qualification and Experience
Should have 7+ years of private or law firm experience. Should be an USPTO registered attorney, licensed in Wisconsin, with a focus primarily on patent and trademark portfolio management and strategy development. Technical background is preferred in mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical engineering, information technology, computer software, or equivalent fields.
