Intellectual Property Attorney/Senior Intellectual Property Attorney Duties: Collaborate with research personnel to develop and execute patentability strategies for antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) platform technologies, including new chemotypes, linkers and ADCs. Supervise, draft and prosecute patent applications for ADC platform technologies. Conduct patentability and freedom to operate studies. Supervise in-house personnel and external IP counsel. Reports to the head of IP.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Member of a state bar and eligible to be admitted to practice in Washington state. 8-14 years of prosecution experience in chemistry, biochemistry or related field; familiarity with antibody prosecution desired. PhD or MS in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field. Experienced in drafting and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications. Experience in preparing freedom operate opinions. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
