IP Attorney - Principal Duties: Preparing and prosecuting strategic, high quality patent applications protecting products and services. Working closely with engineers, scientists, management and other resources to identify and protect inventions that are important. participating in invention disclosure review, approval, filing and prosecution process to help ensure that best inventions are identified and patented. Participating as a member of a cross functional team to provide support in licensing, litigation, special projects, IP rights transfer, and other matters.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: B.S. Degree and/or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. A J.D. Degree from accredited university, and admission to California state Bar. Strong academic credentials. Registration to practice with the USPTO. 3-7 years' experience as a patent attorney. Excellent written and spoken English. Prefer who have personally drafted several patent applications in the field of memory and storage systems, including solid-state storage and non-volatile memory. Prefer experience with establishing, maintaining and executing company-wide disclosure and invention review and filing processes. Ability to work with company resources in a team-oriented partnership to help them arrive at elegant solutions to their problems.
