Legal Counsel The candidate will work on a diversified portfolio of legal matters including transactions, intellectual property, HR, and policy in the medical assessment environment. Will also support business expansion and support domestic and international business activities. Draft and review contracts and other legal agreements to protect the organization's interests. Assist General Counsel in providing legal counsel and guidance to the organization. Provide general legal services to assigned departments and units of the organization. Provide legal services in specified areas of the law. Provide counsel, guidance and recommendations to senior management and various organization units on complex legal matters involving legal interpretation and decisions related to organization activities. Represent the organization in an ethical and competent manner. Collaborate with colleagues in the Legal Services unit and throughout the organization. Prepare contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters (e.g. loans, leases, purchase agreements) to protect the organization's legal and business interests. Should have a J.D. degree from a US law school and be admitted to practice law and in good standing in Pennsylvania. Must have 3+ years of practicing law. Broad and general background in business is preferred.
