Intellectual Property Attorney The candidate will help manage company's IP litigation portfolio (including patent, trademark, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and copyright matter). Will report to IP Litigation Team Leader. Counsel executives and internal clients on IP litigation strategy and risks. Create and execute upon a case-specific and portfolio-wide strategy for company's IP litigation portfolio, including both offensive and defensive litigation strategies. Collaborate with an internal team of legal professionals based in the US as well as China. Collaborate with a network of outside counsel in protecting the company's intellectual property. Partner with other legal professionals and business executives to mitigate IP risks and disputes.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a J.D. degree with admission to at least one State Bar. Must have 4+ years of IP litigation experience. Should preferably have 4+ years of relevant litigation experience in a major law firm and 2 years of experience with an in-house legal department. Experience providing significant litigation support to clients in the technology industries is desired. People management experience is an asset. Application Deadline: July 25, 2016.
