Financial Services Insurance Tax Manager The candidate should have 5+ years of experience and Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar is required. Master's degree is preferred. Thorough knowledge of the tax issues affecting either the domestic and/or international insurance industries is preferred. Thorough knowledge of public accounting practices, internal domestic insurance tax departments or internal foreign insurance departments is preferred. Comprehensive technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance is preferred. Experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials is preferred. Experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback is preferred.
