Senior Manager, Legal And Compliance (Life Insurance) The candidate will provide compliance services to the Group's insurance entities. Perform statutory and regulatory compliance functions, logistic planning and records maintenance / enhancement. Co-ordinate and manage ad-hoc compliance and corporate projects. Develop and implement compliance policies, programs and conduct compliance reviews. Ensure various compliance reporting requirements are met for both internal and regulatory reporting. Review and investigate escalated complaints. Review legal agreements, administrative forms / declarations, training materials, marketing literature, product documents and sales materials to ensure compliance standards are met. Keeping abreast of current compliance and regulatory trends and best compliance practices within the industry. Co-ordinate and manage ad-hoc compliance and corporate projects and tasks.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have University graduate in Law, Accounting, Risk Management or related disciplines. Should have 8 years’ relevant experience in insurance companies of which 3-5 years at supervisory level. Holder of FLMI, AIRC or similar qualifications is preferred. Good knowledge of banking, fund management and/or investment is an advantage. Qualified member of HKICS or relevant professional bodies with good knowledge and practical experience of company secretarial matters is an advantage. Must be well versed with the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and good knowledge of other common offshore jurisdictions. Should have proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese. Must have good PC skill. Should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
