Administrative Assistant The candidate will participate as part of a dynamic team that provides quality service to internal and external clients. Will display customer service centric approach inherent in day-to-day activities and will be a key contributor to the success of the office by providing excellent administrative support to all team members. Handle general administrative duties such as photocopying, collating, filing, faxing, etc. Scan documents and uploading to iAdjust. Support in the preparation of invoices. Support in opening and triage of claims in iAdjust. Support in processing cheque requests. Support in data entry, dicta-typing, word processing
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 3+ years’ experience in an administrative support role, specifically in the insurance, medical or legal field. Education, knowledge and experience required. Must have post-secondary education in administration. Must have previous experience working within a dynamic team. Should have previous experience as an Assistant to Senior Manager or Executives. Experience with dictation machines and software and typing dictated statements is needed. Intermediate experience with Word and strong Excel skills are required. Should have experience in claims or related fields, including insurance, law, or medical. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superior Excel and Microsoft skills are needed. Customer service skills are needed.
