Attorney, Insurance Defense The candidate will be providing legal representation to Progressive insureds and/or to the Progressive Insurance Companies before courts and arbitration panels in all aspects of litigation. Handling own cases from beginning to end, you will also prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, trial briefs and be involved in negotiating settlements. Work closely with customers and claims team to ensure all appropriate defenses are leveraged to reach positive outcomes. Must have Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Louisiana. Should have 2+ years of civil litigation experience preferred including insurance defense.
