Insurance Contract Manager The candidate will review the insurance requirements in construction contracts to ensure that Austin can comply with such requirements; Evaluate which insurance coverages are required for construction projects; Evaluate whether insurance language in construction contracts adequately protect Austin’s interests; and suggest alternative solutions if needed; Manage the Certificates of Insurance program; Act as a back-up for the surety bond underwriter; Frequent interaction with internal clients on insurance needs relating to construction projects and frequent interaction with Austin’s insurance broker; And maintain and strengthen relationships with internal clients. Bachelor’s degree, JD degree a plus. Must have 7+ years’ experience in the Property and Casualty insurance and/or construction industries reviewing insurance policies and insurance provisions in construction contracts. Experience as an insurance broker, risk management specialist, underwriter, or coverage attorney relating to the construction industry will be helpful. Should have extensive knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance coverages relating to the construction industry.
