Financial Services Office - Insurance & Actuarial Advisory Services Senior - Risk/Claims Responsibilities: Participate in the engagement, focusing on complex and specialized insurance, claims, or risk management issues. Collaborate to determine an engagement strategy and create a plan. Communicate effectively with the client and the engagement team. Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management. Focus on deliverables and prioritize. Manage expectations of service. Successfully manage to the budget. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client. Develop people. Delegate work effectively. Contribute to on-the-job feedback/training and conduct performance reviews. Coach junior staff in pursuing actuarial examinations/credentials. Foster teamwork and innovative thinking. Commit to developing knowledge. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Respect/protect confidential client information. Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills. Generate new business opportunities. Understand service lines and actively assess/present opportunities for the firm to bring value to clients. Develop long-term relationships and networks. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and 1-2 years of related work experience. Degree in Insurance/Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, and/or other related major. 1+ years of experience in an insurance, claims, or risk management position. Completion or significant progress towards the completion of an advanced, recognized insurance industry designation (e.g., AIC, ARe, ARM, CPCU), or an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, J.D.).
