Profile

Project Manager - eDiscovery The candidate will provide expertise and direct assistance to attorneys and other users of litigation support software in Washington DC. May request additional needs for regional offices in New York, NY, Chicago, IL, and Kansas City, MO. Shall consult with attorneys as new matters are initiated, recommend best eDiscovery practices for obtaining data, and assist with application of data discovery standards to information requested from outside parties during the investigation and litigation process. Review incoming documents to assure compliance with data delivery standards, upload the data to the Government network, and submit requests to document processing staff to load the data to the appropriate document review platform (Relativity, Concordance, and Nexidia). Perform quality review of the database and provide notification to the attorney(s) that the material is ready for review. Provide one-on-one assistance to attorneys with searching, organizing, and analyzing documents related to legal matters using the entire range of eDiscovery software. Perform database searches, generating reports, and providing other user assistance related to Relativity, Concordance, and Nexidia. Provide ongoing end- user support performing the following tasks:Provide end-user support including one-on-one, classroom training, and troubleshooting issues raised by the end-users using the eDiscovery software applications; Establishing document review batches; Creating searches and search term reports based on search criteria provided by the matter attorney; Creating views and coding layouts; Running pivots and creating summary reports; Creating persistent highlight sets; Creating document production sets; Create and archive TextMap and CaseMap databases. Support attorneys in preparation and submission of out-going document productions as may be required during the litigation process. Provide ongoing user training to Government and contractor staff in the use of eDiscovery software. Provide trial support to Government attorneys such as preparation of courtroom electronic presentations and providing in-courtroom support for utilization of Sanction and other appropriate eDiscovery software.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Undergraduate degree. Law degree, advanced technical certification or other pertinent graduate degree valued. Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) and or experience using Relativity Analytics and Relativity Assisted Review (RAR) tools preferred. Must have 4+ years of progressively more responsible experience in major litigation support projects, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys. Should have expert knowledge of litigation support; outstanding writing skills; outstanding oral communication skills; outstanding management skills. Must have strong technical background as demonstrated through user level knowledge of e-discovery tools and data management. Should be an expert user of the Government's office and network environment. Must have working knowledge of the eDiscovery process and skill utilizing software products including to Relativity, Concordance, FIS, FOIAXpress, Nexidia, NoteMap, Case Map, Text Map, Time Map and Practice Manager. Should have ability to manage numerous complex and time critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing support activities. Must have ability to interact with attorneys on complex support activities. Must have ability to obtain and or maintain a government issued public trust.
