Global Planning Process And Systems Leader The candidate will work in Supply Chain department. Will supervise the Global Planning Systems (APS Demand Planning, APS PDP, Cognos reporting and the associated downstream systems) in order to ensure high level of performances and accessibility. In case of system or process disruption, will evaluate the business impact, determine and prioritize corrective actions to mitigate the risk and communicate to the Supply Chain communities. Also train the users, create the training materials and document the Planning Processes and Systems. Responsibilities: Providing support and expertise to the Global and Regional Planning communities in the areas of the Demand Planning, Network/Supply Planning, Inventory Management and S&OP; Connecting the business needs with the system capabilities to maximize the use of the planning systems/tools and to identify, standardize and leverage best practices; Providing systems expertise to the Supply Chain and other cross functional departments to ensure End-to-End process/system integration; Leading the continuous improvements of Planning Systems and Process to support the Planning organizations achieving their goals; Developing strong partnerships with the IT/Application Support teams and partnering cross-functionally within the business organization; Leading or supporting Planning System improvement initiatives such as new system implementation/upgrade or process improvement/redesign; Through a project management methodology, provide support to design the project specifications (functional/technical), identify resources and budget needs, determine project roadmap and follow-up on milestones to ensure on-time project completion; Negotiate and influence without authority. Effectively manage projects and timelines to meet schedules.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelors degree in business or technical discipline; advanced degrees including J.D., MBA or MS in Engineering or other technical discipline preferred. A focused degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, Engineering, or related fields is preferred. 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain or a related field is required. Demonstrated Project Leadership experience is required. Must have overall process knowledge both from operational as well as system perspective. Should have strong verbal presentation skills to senior management. Must have demonstrated abilities to manage complexity within a multicultural/Global environment, multiple functional organizations and levels. Should have deep knowledge of a least one ERP and one Reporting environment. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and MS SQL. APICS and Process Excellence tools, training and certification are highly preferred. Fluency in English is essential, French and/or Dutch additional assets.
