Financial Management Analyst, GS-0501-11/12 Duties: The candidate will do funds Management duties to include: allocating funds based upon the Product and Service Plan (PSP) & funds received from HQ, update allocation tracker with latest balances in projects & NAVY funded level drilldown for budget entry documents (NERP T-Code FMEDDW). Analyze results & determine how to allocate funds to FLC's. Realign funds through amending purchase requests (PR's).Update Purchase Request / Purchase Order / Sales Order (PR/PO/SO) tracker. Any time an amendment is processed, ensure that tracker is reconciled & updated so we have accurate cash management.AD-hoc, comptroller & field comptroller approver – validate components of amendments ensuring accuracy & sufficient documentation. Reconcile against PR/PO/SO tracker. Labor projections – Analyze to ensure sufficient labor is available at the level 2 project level for Network Activities (NWA's) to charge & avoid creating Undistributed Labor (UDL's).Undistributed Labor (UDL's) & Suspense – ensure sufficient funds available to clear weekly. Analyze and research items as necessary. Create Project structures – build Network Activities (NWA's), create network headers, assign NWA's & ensure they are pointing to the correct fund source.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: GS-11: Must demonstrate 1+ year of pqe at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent demonstrating knowledge and skill applying principles, concepts and practices to perform assignments concerning financial management, accounting or budget. Or Have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree or have completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., closely related to the position. GS-12: Must demonstrate 1+ year of pqe at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent demonstrating knowledge and skill applying principles, concepts and practices to perform assignments concerning financial management, accounting or budget.
