Principal E-Commerce Analyst Duties: To be the data lead between Business to Business (B2B) e-commerce platform, data analytics team and aftermarket Business to Customer platforms (B2C). To develop channel web-based analytics capabilities and discipline. Develop and apply web technology best practices across our B2B platform. Act as the project manager to implement innovative solutions and bring new functionality to Timken’s platforms. This will include cross functional and global team development. Learn and master our product offering and nomenclature, our supporting functional areas (supply chain, pricing, product management), our e-commerce platform & support infrastructure, the industrial & auto aftermarket channel dynamics, B2B customer needs and end user requirements to create unique business solutions that increase revenue and profitability. Communicate both written and verbally with external customers on e-commerce requirements and partner with them to create a working integrated solution. Manage and execute internal and external customer requests including troubleshooting and continuous improvement opportunities. Identify, define and lead implementation of SEO campaigns supported by a pros, cons, risk mitigation and ROI assessment. The SEO campaigns include data gathering and analyses, website updates, and feedback reporting. Identify, define and lead the implementation of modern e-training technologies that pertain to our B2B platform features, functions and capabilities.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: High School (Or Equiv), Associate's Degree. Bachelor's Degree in MIS, IT, Marketing, Data Analytics, Data Science. Master's Degree in MIS, IT, Marketing, Data Analytics, Data Science. Ph.D. JD Degree. 7-10 Years' experience in Business processes, marketing & information system functionality. Data science, or heavy data analytics, experience. Web development exposure and toolset. Strong analytical and process documentation skills. Good cross-culture communication skills. Must meet stringent deadlines and have attention to details. Innovative and continuous improvement mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint, data base functionality (SQL, Access, etc.), SAP and general information systems. Web scraping and development experience preferred.
