Technology and Commercial Contracts Counsel The candidate will draft, negotiate and advise stakeholders regarding technology and non-technology procurement contracts, including software licenses (including SAAS), hardware acquisition, outsourcing agreements (BPO and ITO), data licenses, various services and general vendor agreements. Draft, negotiate and advise stakeholders regarding: online trading platform agreements (ECN/ATS); sponsorship agreements; hotel and venue agreement; Negotiate and provide advice regarding data privacy, information security and business continuity requirements and contractual provisions; Preparation of standard forms and templates; Train business units and Procurement team on issues and contractual provisions relating to technology and intellectual property law and provide legal advice with vendor contracts in the context of acquisitions and dispositions. Bachelors degree in Law is essential. Must have 4+ years of experience in technology-transactional and outsourcing work at a law firm or within an in-house legal function (preferably financial services). Should preferably have New York State Bar admission. Experience managing complex transactions with many moving parts and stakeholders, where attention to detail is critical.
