Associate Director, Global Information Protection Group The candidate will support the development and implementation of company’s global information management and protection strategy and policies to comply with applicable laws and regulations and meet client expectations including data privacy, confidentiality, examining cross border data flows and protecting intellectual capital. Will collaborate and provide guidance and subject matter expertise on information protection matters to Privacy Liaisons, National IT Security Officers, Risk Management Partners and Legal Counsel of member firms. Partner with regulators and internal business leadership to maintain internal and external information protection requirements. Provide advice and recommendations regarding information protection controls to IT projects throughout the lifecycle, (e.g. privacy-by-design), including managing the risk assessment methodology and documentation. Develop strategies and implementation materials surrounding marketing, social media, cloud and mobile applications. Contribute to increasing awareness of information management, protection and privacy issues across the network of firms.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Advanced law degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Must have 6 years of professional work experience in the field of information protection and risk management, preferably for a global organization. Should have demonstrated knowledge related to information privacy issues with regards to evolving technology (e.g., mobile, cloud, global hosting, etc.). Professional privacy or security qualifications such as CIPP and/or CISSP preferred. Should have background working on large-scale international projects and the ability to manage multiple processes and projects at once.
