ProfileSolution Consultant RESPONSIBILITIES: Actively support the sales teams by taking a consultative role in customers evaluation processes, engage in cross-functional collaboration to drive needs analysis, solution mapping and presentations Conduct product demonstrations that communicate the value of BNA Software solutions to prospective customers. Adapt demonstrations to varying audiences from senior tax & accounting executives decision makers, to IT and end users. Provide expertise on the technical, functional, and integration aspects of Bloomberg BNA solutions. Uncover strategic objectives and new business opportunities with customer stakeholders. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the sales cycle. Create and deliver dynamic solution presentations that address a wide variety of customer’s objectives. Propose innovative solution and implementation recommendations. Develop presentation materials to support responses to RFI, RFP’s, and other sales proposals. Function as a liaison between the sales, implementation, and product management teams to determine solution recommendations, implementation requirements and solution fit. Support the development of Statement of Works and conduct knowledge transfer with implementation team members to ensure a seamless transition to implementation after the completion of the sale. Maintain knowledge of product features, product benefits, product roadmaps, relevant industry best practices and competitive trends. Embrace an entrepreneurial spirit and perspective to all internal and external interactions. Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events as required. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or higher in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, and Finance, Accounting or other related field. CPA, LLM or Law degree a plus. Experience with tax, accounting, or financial software a plus. 5+ years’ relevant experience within the software or technology industry, or a business environment; 3+ years’ experience working in a customer-facing role preferably in a pre-sales or a consultant capacity; demonstrated track record of success in providing pre-sales support or customer-facing consulting with documentation supporting results; ability to work with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); ability to articulate value propositions and discuss key issues at multiple levels (C-level to end users); experience in customer needs analysis and translating these into high-level solution design; excellent listening, verbal, written and presentation skills; excellent organization and time management skills; excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team structure; possess a strong sense of teamwork, integrity, self-motivation, and a positive attitude; excellent analytical and problem solving skills; and flexibility for overnight travel, travel to customer locations as needed, and meetings as required (up to 50%).
