ProfileData Analytics Manager - Litigation RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop data-driven tools, reports, and product initiatives for the Litigation editorial unit on the Law platform. Gather, organize and compile data from a range of sources, internal and external, while adding value through analysis of legal documents and filings. Conceptualize and design analytical tools and reports for Litigation editorial unit based on those data sources. Work with the data visualization unit to develop graphics that would enhance and supplement Practice Centers on Law. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
REQUIREMENTS: JD Degree preferred. 3+ years’ data visualization-related experience, preferably with experience in legal technology; civil litigation, criminal litigation, complex/class action litigation, dockets, and/or e-discovery subject matter experience; legal practice and/or legal research experience and the ability to analyze legal documents; ability to identify, clean, manipulate and analyze databases that are appropriate for technical legal and regulatory markets; ability to make data analytics accessible and understandable to subscribers; track record of producing data-driven tools and visualizations highly desirable; ability to carry out assigned research projects within deadlines under general supervision; an expert in Excel and Tableau; skills in Access, Sequel, or other relevant software; familiarity with at least one scripting program such as Python or Ruby; familiarity with application programming interface (API) preferred; ability to use publishing tools and other technology effectively with training; Relevant coursework and/or experience, including degree or equivalent experience in data science/analytics, preferred.
